Our Story
Behind The Invisible Founder lies a journey through the business world’s less-trodden paths. I’ve worn the founder’s hat not once, not twice, but thrice—leading a marketing agency, a sales consultancy, and now, a software startup, all without the fanfare of Silicon Valley or a Brinks truck full of investment cash. Instead, I relied on good old networking, fueled by copious amounts of coffee and the occasional bewildered look from friends.
My ‘aha’ moment came while working with a software startup that was first to market but last in line when it came to recognition. We were the quiet kid in class with all the answers, but when the new kids with shiny VC shoes and Silicon Valley swag showed up, they managed to shout louder, leapfrogging us in the popularity stakes. It was like bringing a knife to a gunfight, only the knife was our budget, and the gun was their marketing megabucks.
So, with a dash of audacity and a sprinkle of ‘why the heck not,’ I decided to punch above my weight and start my own software venture. Taking on Goliath without a slingshot? Sure, it’s a bit cheeky, but I’ve got a knack for squeezing a quid till it squeaks. Silicon Valley might sneeze at a million quid as if it’s pocket change, but I see a treasure chest ready for a frugal pirate to plunder.
The truth is, I’m not the only one navigating this startup odyssey without a map. There are legions of us, quietly revolutionizing industries from our secret lairs. Some of us will strike gold, others might just find a few glittering nuggets, but imagine a world where more of us hit the motherlode. That’s the world The Invisible Founder is rooting for.
